Shipping


  • We ship anywhere in the United States. International shipping is unavailable at this time.


  • Shipping is free for orders over $100. Some oversized or heavy items may be subject to additional shipping charges.


  • We utilize UPS, FedEx, and USPS depending on the items ordered. Upgraded or express shipping is available on request.


  • Signature is required for delivery of items over $300 to ensure safe delivery.


  • You will receive a confirmation number with tracking information once your order has shipped.


Returns


At Focal Point, we aim for complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are needed. If you're not fully satisfied with your purchase of a new item, you can return it within 14 days of the purchase date.*


Returns/exchanges must show proof of purchase or receipt. The total will be refunded in the original form of payment including the card used for purchase, check or cash up to $100. Purchases made in cash over $100 may be refunded by check.

New Camera Return Policy:


  • All returns are subject to inspection and approval by Focal Point staff.


  • Full refund for cameras returned within 14 days of purchase with all original packaging intact, including all warranty paperwork, with no cosmetic damage, and under 200 shutter actuations/clicks since sale date.


  • If the camera is returned within the 14 days with more than 200 actuations/clicks and includes all original packaging intact, including all warranty paperwork, with no cosmetic damage; a 15% restocking fee will be taken out of the refund.


  • If the camera is returned missing any packaging, warranty paperwork,is outside the return window, or has any damage, Focal Point will buy the camera back from the customer as a used item. Value will be assessed by Focal Point staff.


New Lens Return Policy:


  • All returns are subject to inspection and approval by Focal Point staff.


  • Full refund for lenses returned within  30 days of purchase with all original packaging intact. This includes all warranty paperwork, with no cosmetic damage since sale date.


  • Lenses returned with missing packaging, warranty paperwork, or damage will be assessed for value by Focal Point staff and bought from the customer as a used item.


Used Gear Return Policy:


  • Used equipment must be returned within 30 days of purchase.


  • Used gear purchases come with a 6 month warranty that covers mechanical failure. If a used camera or lens malfunctions within 6 months of purchase, Focal Point will repair or replace the item. If the item is unable to be repaired or replaced, Focal Point staff may offer a full refund. The 6 month warranty does not cover damage due to drops, spills, or any other accidental damage.


Holiday Returns/Exchanges:


  • Focal Point offers an extended return window for items purchased the week of Thanksgiving through December 24th.  These items may be returned by January 7th as long as they are in new condition.


Gift Cards:


  • Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.


*Items Not Accepted for Returns or Exchanges:


  • Focal Point does not accept returns on perishable items such as film, or chemistry, special order items that are non-stock, or items sold as clearance, as-is, or final sale.



Payment methods


Online Payments:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Apple Pay in our online payment portal. 


In-Person Payments:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and cash in person in the shop. If need be, customers can call ahead to reserve a product. However, the product will be returned to inventory after three (3) days, should the customer not pay for it. 



Limit of Liability


By submitting materials (including but not limited to film, prints, negatives, slides, or digital files) for processing, you acknowledge and agree that, in the event of any damage, loss, or defect, the liability of Focal Point Photography, its subsidiaries, or agents is strictly limited. In such cases, Focal Point will offer replacement of the affected materials with an equivalent amount of unexposed film, prints, or media, and processing.


Focal Point Photography, its subsidiaries, and agents will not be held responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the processing of submitted materials. No expressed or implied warranties are provided regarding the quality, accuracy, or suitability of the prints or materials processed.


By submitting your materials for processing, you accept these terms and agree that you are solely responsible for any risks associated with the submission of your items.
